Everyone calls themselves storytellers, but no one tells stories. So here’s one about a guy named Dave. Grew up in the States. Thought he’d go pro until his knee said nö. So he did the next logical thing and moved to Berlin to work in an ad agency. He had no idea what he was doing. His Deutsch war unter aller Sau. So he just watched people with sneakers on their desks talk nonsense and get paid for it. Looked dope. 12+ years later, he’s learned the game (und mehr Deutsch), made the work, won some stuff and realised the only way to make advertising interesting…is to not make advertising. In other words, less KPIs. More WTF.
